5 | Former South Africa pacer Dale Steyn took 4/17 against New Zealand in 2014 edition of T20 World Cup.

4 | Former Proteas pacer Morne Morkel also took 4/17 against New Zealand in inaugural edition of T20 World Cup.

3 | South Africa's legendary all-rounder took 4/15 against Zimbabwe in T20 World Cup 2012.

2 | Left-arm pacer Wayne Parnell took 4/13 against West Indies in 2009 edition of T20 World Cup.

1 | Anrich Nortje took 4 wickets for just 10 runs from 3.3 overs against Bangladesh in Sydney in ongoing T20 World Cup.

Nortje is the only bowler on the list who did not bowl his full quota of four overs.

Nortje's victims were openers Najmul Hossain Shanto, Sourmya Sarkar, skipper Shakib Al Hasan and tailender Taskin Ahmed.

Nortje's four-fer helped South Africa bundle out Bangladesh for 101 in run chase of 206 at Sydney Cricket Ground.

This is also the most economical (2.85) four-fer for South Africa in T20I cricket.
