IPL 2023: Who was CSK's fourth youngest debutant in the opener vs Gujarat Titans

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) returned to the IPL with a defeat to the Gujarat Titans. 

Despite this loss, there were several positives for MS Dhoni's side, including the performance of Rajvardhan Hangargekar.

The 20-year-old took three wickets and conceded 36 runs in his 4 overs. 

At 20, Hangargekar is the fourth youngest player to make his CSK.

Abhinav Mukund was the youngest at 18, while Ankit Rajput and Sri Lanka's Matheesha Pathirana are in 2nd and 3rd respectively.

He got the crucial wickets of Wriddhiman Saha, Sai Sudharsan and Vijay Shankar.

Hangargekar won the 2022 U-19 World Cup with India, taking five wickets in six matches.

The young gun has taken a total of five wickets in eight T20 matches played before his IPL debut.
