As former New Zealand captain, Brendon McCullum is celebrating his 41st birthday, let's take a look at some of his astounding records.

McCullum holds the record of smashing most sixes in Test cricket. He whacked 107 sixes in red-ball cricket during his career. 

The right-handed batter also smashed the fastest century in Test cricket. He reached the three-figure mark in just 54 balls against Australia. 

Fastest 100 

The wicketkeeper-batter is the only batter ever to have smashed 10 or more sixes in a Test match on two occasions.

McCullum was the first wicketkeeper-batter ever to have smashed a century in all three formats of the game.

The former Kiwi captain also has the highest score by a wicketkeeper-batter in T20Is (123).

McCullum also became the first wicketkeeper-batter to score a century in both ODI and T20 World Cup.

The swashbuckling captain also holds the record of scoring the most runs on IPL debut (158*). 


McCullum was also the first batter to breach the mark of 1,000 and 2,000 runs in T20I cricket.
