He is the first South African batter to do so after his 52-ball century against Bangladesh in Sydney.

Rilee Rossouw scored 109 runs in 56 balls with seven fours and eight sixes against Bangladesh.

He is the second batter to score a ton in two consecutive T20I innings!

Before Rossouw, Gustave of France had scored centuries in two consecutive T20I matches.

He is also the first batter to score centuries in two consecutive innings against full-time ICC member-nation — India and Bangladesh.

Rossouw joined other record books with his 163-runs with Quinton de Kock during the match.

The partnership between Rossouw and de Kock (63 runs) is the highest for South Africa in T20 World Cup history.

Rossouw's belligerent century helped South Africa to a score of 205 runs for 5 wickets against Bangladesh.
