Indian players including Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma have returned to India from Australia after T20 World Cup ouster.

After a 10-wicket mauling in the World Cup semi-final, Indian players are returning to India in batches.

Virat Kohli, who was the most successful batter for India in Australia, landed at the Mumbai airport on November 11's late night.

Yuzvendra Chahal, Suryakumar Yadav and Rishabh Pant left from Adelaide on November 12. However, instead of coming to India, the troika is going to New Zealand for the T20I series.

Ace spinner Yuzvendra Chahal, who didn't get a chance to play even a single match in Team India's Mission Melbourne, will hope to display his spin wizardry against Kiwis.

Team India suffered a crushing defeat at the hands of England, who chased down India's 169-run target with 10 wickets and 24 balls to spare.

After a patchy start, India posted 168/6 riding on half-centurion knocks from Hardik Pandya and Virat Kohli.

Team India were off to a pretty slow start after as they could only score 62 runs in the first 10 overs.

Indian bowlers failed to dismiss the dazzling duo of Jos Buttler and Alex Hales. While Butler scored 80, Hales belted 86 to take the game away from India.
