T20 World Cup

India squad for the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup to be held in Australia in Oct-Nov has been announced. It will be Rohit Sharma's 1st ICC tourney as captain.

Rohit will be captaining Team India in an ICC T20 World Cup for the first time in his long career. He was made captain after the 2021 T20 World Cup.

Rohit has been captain in seven different series and tournaments (domestic and international). He has won them all in the first attempt!

Rohit Sharma captained in the IPL for the first time in the year 2013 and it was also the first time that he won the trophy for Mumbai Indians.
