WPL 2023: Six of 10 spots among highest run-getters occupied by Australians!

The WPL 2023 is close to culmination and as usual, the tournament was dominated by the Australians. 

However, more than the bowling department, it was the batters who have taken the tournament by storm. 

Six of the top 10 batters are from Australia! Here, we look at the six top Australian run-getters that have lit the tournament on fire.

Delhi Capitals and Australia captain Meg Lanning leads the charts with 271 runs in seven matches at an average of 54.20.

On third is UP Warriorz Tahlia McGrath with 237 runs in seven games at an average of 47.40.

RCB all-rounder Ellyse Perry occupies the fifth spot, having scored 224 runs at an average of 44.80.

UPW all-rounder Grace Harris is in the seventh position, with 216 runs in five games and an impressive average of 72. 

Warriorz captain Alyssa Healy is ninth with 206 runs in seven games and an average of 34.33.

Gujarat Giants all-rounder Ashleigh Gardner is the highest run-getter for her team with 204 runs in eight games.
